21 Day Fix Results & What Comes Next

| (0) comments |

I’m a little off schedule this week. I spent the weekend away dealing with the loss of a family member, so I’m a little out of sync. But I wanted to make sure that I took the time to post my 21 Day Fix results for you guys. I cannot say enough about this program. Seriously. I LOVED the workouts. The nutrition is so simple. And guys...let’s be honest, for me nutrition is the hardest thing to master and if I can do it YOU can do it!!

The distance between your dreams and reality is discipline

And now...the results... :)

So after 21 Days I am down 8 lbs and 5 inches with 21 Day Fix and Shakeology. Now for those of you that have been following my journey, you know that I have to FIGHT for every ounce and inch of loss I get. That is just how my body behaves. So I’m SUPER happy about these results. I feel more comfortable in my clothes. I have noticed a big difference in my leg strength while running.  But to be honest, I didn't even realize that it showed until I saw these two photos side by side.  (Left: day 1 Right: Day 21)  This is why doing your before pictures is SO important!  Obviously, most of my loss was in my midsection which is where I need it most. I could not be happier about the results of this program!  I want to shout it from the rooftops! :)

In my challenge group, the results are still coming in but I have already had one challenge report that she has lost 12 lbs and another lost 8 lbs. Both did 21 Day Fix along with Shakeology. That is healthy weight loss. No special diet pills. No starvation diets. It was done by eating clean, healthy foods. Sometimes I even hear complaints that it is too much food. You don’t have to starve to lose weight and get healthy!

I would love to help you reach your goals also. If you would like to be considered for my next group, please fill out the application below to be considered for a spot.

10K Training - Long Run PRI also had a great week for my running. I was able to get a long run in on Sunday with my brother. I’m thrilled with my pace. Granted, the run was not half as hilly as my typical places but I pushed hard and it paid off. I also signed up to do another 10k while I’m visiting my friend in a few weeks. I’m super excited about that. We don’t get to run together anymore since she has moved so it will be nice to do something like this together. Along with that, I can already feel my motivation kicking back in now that I know I have a race coming up. Accountability is key, folks!!

So what is on tap for my workouts? I really considered doing another round of 21 Day Fix, but I also have really been wanting to complete a round of T25. I have done several of the workouts from this program before, but I have never completed the entire thing. I think it will be great also to get me ready for Insanity Max30 that comes out next month!  I have my before pictures. I have taken my measurements and i can't wait to see what the next 60 days brings! I feel like I have finally gotten my nutrition on track.

T25 Day 1 - Alpha: Cardio
T25 Day 1 - Alpha: Cardio
T25 has multiple phases as you progress through the program. The first phase is Alpha. So today was Alpha:
Cardio! So much sweaty fun. :)

Here is my plan for the week:

Workout:

Monday: Alpha: Cardio
Tuesday: Alpha: Speed 1.0 - Run 3 miles
Wednesday: Alpha: Total Body Circuit
Thursday: Alpha: Ab Intervals - Run 3 miles
Friday: Alpha: Lower Focus & Alpha: Cardio
(Fridays can be double days or you can do one Friday & one Saturday)
Saturday: 4.5 miles
Sunday: Rest (or back-up day for long run)

Meal Plan:

I am going to try to use the MyFitnessPal app to track my food. My calories will be based off of the calculations in my nutrition guide. If I find that I start slacking, I will most likely go back to the 21 Day Fix containers because they make nutrition so simple! :) My husband's birthday is this week so I am planning to make one of his favorite meals on Wednesday. There are a couple of opportunities to make healthy choices while eating out (see what I did there?), but otherwise the week is pretty well laid out. Here is my food for the coming week:

I have completely been able to stay out of my kids’ Halloween candy. That is a feat in itself as I’m sure many of you can relate. ;) This is going to be a great week. I can already tell! Let’s head into the holidays healthy and feeling good!!

Make it a great week!!
