T25 Week 5 Clean Eating Meal Plan & Progress Update

Family Workout Time
Wow! Can you believe Thanksgiving has already come and gone? Last week was CRAZY at our house. We don’t have family close by, so the holidays often mean traveling. It can be exhausting but we love spending time with our family so it is worth it for sure! We started off our holiday weekend with a little family workout. :)  It is so fun to watch the boys working out and wanting to be strong and healthy like mommy and daddy. I find myself having a proud mommy moment every time I look at this picture!

I did really well with nutrition all last week until Saturday. I’m not going to lie. We had my family’s Thanksgiving dinner and I was weak to all of the good food. There are some dishes that only come out for holidays so I allowed myself to partake. I won’t feel guilty about it. I will let it go and move on because this is all about a lifestyle change. It is NOT a diet. I am working towards finding a balance that works for me!



My workouts have been going pretty well. I haven’t been feeling quite like myself, but I’m trying to power through anyway. I’m proud to say that even on the tough days, I am still making time to workout. This is the last week of the Alpha phase of T25. Next week I will move on to the Beta phase and all of the workouts will be taken up a notch! Oh man!


If you wait for the perfect conditions, nothing will ever get done.

I’m really disappointed with my running progress. I just haven’t been able to find my mojo. Last weekend, I traveled to stay with a friend for a girls weekend. We decided that it would be fun to do a 10K while I was there. Of course it ended up being SO COLD! LOL On top of that, I was super sick all morning so I had a tough time finishing it. I made it through the first 4 miles and the last two were literally just me trying to make it to the finish. I did join a local running club this weekend though. I hope that it will reinvigorate me so that I can get back to that place where I love lacing up my shoes and getting out there!

As I mentioned before, I haven’t been feeling like myself. As a result, my nutrition has been hit and miss. Some days I don’t eat enough and other days it is too much or the wrong things. I am working on continuing to find that balance. Some days are tough when all I want to do is curl up and take a nap! :P But that won’t help me get to where I want to be so I just keep pushing through and taking it one day at a time!

So here is the plan for this week! There are only 3.5 weeks until Christmas! Can you believe it?? My plan is to keep my nutrition as squeaky clean as possible. To help me with that, I have joined a coach only group with my team. We are always hosting challenges and working with our customers, but this will be fun to be working with our fellow coaches AND there is a money prize at the end! So exciting! :)
