21 Day Fix EXTREME Week 1 Clean Eating Meal Plan

If you have been following me on social media (or have seen my High Five for Friday post), you know that this week we started 21 Day Fix EXTREME. We have done 2 workouts so far and I am IN LOVE! First, I love lifting weights. Even though I have been a runner on and off, weight lifting makes me feel strong and it seems like my body reacts well to it. Second, the workouts are tough which makes me smile. They are a big challenge. I have been sore every day and I love it! :) Are you reading this thinking ‘She’s crazy!’? LOL! Or maybe you are thinking ‘hmmm...that does sound fun!’. Haha

Anyway, I’m loving the workouts. The nutrition plan is very similar to the original 21 Day Fix, but more strict. There are no cheats. No chocolate. (insert sob) No wine. But we can do anything for 21 days right?! Plus Steve and I have a trip to Cancun (thank you, Beachbody!) that I earned last year coming up in April so I’m ready to put in the work!



For nutrition, I am focusing a lot on making sure that I’m getting good quality protein in for most of my meals. He and I are in different ‘buckets’ for our food, but we are eating the same foods but different quantities. One thing we have both said is that it is a lot of food. You certainly are not deprived on this program. If you miss a meal, it can be difficult to fit the food you missed into your day. :P It’s amazing how much food you can have when you are eating clean and healthy!
